Overview - Mission Statement

The James A. Rhodes Leadership Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals in financial need through a scholarship program for residents of Ohio who are continuing their education. Our goal is to help deserving Ohio residents achieve their career goals, an objective which has the added benefit of bettering the State of Ohio at large. The Foundation further seeks to insure that deserving Ohio scholars not be deprived of higher education because of a shortage of funds, and will work with local, state and national leaders to ensure that those who are capable of attending an Ohio institute of higher education have the ability and financial means to do so. It is also intended to encourage and motivate students who have demonstrated the capacity to achieve educational and professional goals, so that upon reaching these goals they will seek opportunities to further their progress within the state of Ohio to improve their lives as well as the state.
